Computer Laboratories

SSI has fully equipped computer laboratories with All-in-One Desktops and advanced versions of Licenced Statistical software. All desktops are with high-speed intranet connectivity.

Wi-Fi enabled campus allows students to excel in today’s information age by advanced pedagogy like live lectures, experiential learning, video streaming and online project. Allow a smooth flow of information among different stack holders in the ecosystem.

Server Room

SSI has a central server room to support all daily operations and build a safe environment that protects institute confidential data with core layers for computing, storage, and networking. Server room is with six different racked server for network, antivirus, licenced software, backup server along with high power server funded by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India under DST/EDA scheme for big data analytics. The servers are operated remotely through the networking layer and have uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and standard protocol for data back system.

Software

All software required for statistical analysis allows students to work on real-time data and focus on hand-on training. This also enable faculty members to impart analytical training with Statistical Software and available programming languages. Students also have access to the some of the library software through which they get access to the information.
