Admission Process for Postgraduate Course in statistics
For every Academic Year admission process begins in the month of December and remain open until May end. Admission form will be available on SSI website. After completing registration process, near to the date of entrance/PIWAT students will be contacted by office and will receive detailed schedule about entrance/PIWAT. After completing the selection process and based on performance in PIWAT students will be informed through email regarding confirmation on their admission status.
Selection of students is based on:
- Academic record with minimum 50 percent (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level
- Performance at the “Writing Aptitude Test (Technical and Academic)” (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI) which will be conducted ONLINE for BATCH 2022-24. WAT is a written test that will be scheduled along with a comprehensive Personal Interaction (PI)
- Writing Aptitude Test (Technical and Academic)-WAT Test: Essay type written test on a general topic to comprehend the writing skills of the candidate.
- Personal Interaction (PI): Interaction with a panel of experts.
- We have a very simple admission process at SSI Pune if you plan to do MSc in statistics in India.
